Types Of Ready- Mix Concrete to Choose From
Depending on the mixing process, there are three types of ready-mix concrete in South East London.
This type of concrete is also known as dry-batched concrete because all the ingredients are directly added to the mixer. And when the ingredients are added, the mixer revolves quickly and then it rotates at the regular place.
In shrink-mixed, the concrete is partially mixed on the plant and then balanced mixed in the mounted drum mixer during transit time. Additionally, the calculated time of mixing in transit mixture depends on the amount of mixing done at the mixing plant.
This process includes a thorough mixing of concrete at the plant. This type is also known as a central batching plant; when the concrete is delivered, the truck mixer only works as an agitator.
